After graduating from Cal State Long Beach in 2010, Maxwell Pfeiffer moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he joined the Boca Restaurant Group and advanced to a management position at the acclaimed Sotto. There, he honed foundational fine cooking techniques and cultivated a strong commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Returning to Long Beach in 2014, Maxwell quickly became a key figure in the local restaurant scene. He worked alongside the late Chef Arthur Gonzalez at Roe and was instrumental in launching Heritage with Chef Philip Pretty.
For the past four years, Maxwell has been a vital member of the leadership team at Knife Pleat in Costa Mesa, benefiting from the mentorship of renowned Chefs William Mouchet and Tony Esnault. At Knife Pleat, he refined his fine cooking skills and contributed to the restaurant's sustained Michelin-star status.
Now back in his hometown of Long Beach as Chef de Cuisine of the acclaimed Sky Room, Chef Maxwell Pfeiffer is eager to bring his passion for classic luxury and enlightened hospitality to his home community.

While working through the kitchens of Orange Hill Restaurant in Orange, CA and The Capital Grille in Costa Mesa, CA, Jordan Domingo completed his culinary education in 2022 at The Riverside City College Culinary Academy.
Post-graduation, Jordan found himself a position at one Michelin Star awarded Knife Pleat. This is where he met Chef Maxwell Pfeiffer and also got to benefit from the mentorship of renowned Chefs William Mouchet and Tony Esnault.
During his tenure at Knife Pleat, Jordan was one of four applicants selected to compete, and took home the silver medal, in the inaugural World Young Chef Young Waiter USA competition hosted in Napa, CA.
Now residing in San Marcos CA, Jordan has spent time in numerous Michelin Star kitchens across Southern California and most recently contributed to Lilo in Carlsbad's Michelin Star status just ten weeks after opening.
Graduating from Cal State San Marcos in 2026, Chef Jordan Domingo is aiming to use his fine dining experience and unique personality to bring a new type of dining experience to Southern California.
